HRH The Prince of Wales supports The Mary Rose Trust at Crosby Moran Hall

His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, President, Mary Rose Trust attended a dinner at Crosby Moran Hall, hosted by Mary Rose Trustee Mr. Christopher Moran, which raised almost half a million pounds for The Mary Rose.

The dinner was held in Crosby Moran Hall’s Great Hall, originally built in the 15th Century, and was preceded by a reception in the adjoining entrance hall that overlooks the garden in Tudor style, designed by the Marchioness of Salisbury.

At the reception, His Royal Highness met guests and supporters of the Mary Rose who had the opportunity of seeing a selection of the artifacts from the collection and two models of the proposed new Museum.

Dinner was prepared by Michel Roux Jr of Le Gavroche. Speeches were given by both His Royal Highness and Mr. Christopher Moran, whilst the Chief Executive of the Mary Rose Trust Rear Admiral John Lippiett concluded the evening with a message of thanks.
